I recently discovered the savings accounts and CDs at ING Direct. Did you know the savings accounts yield 4% interest? Holy crap. That is soo much better than my regular savings account now. There are no fees, it’s all online, totally secure, and it connects to your regular account for any-time access. A friend recommended this to me and I LOVE it. I’m thinking about getting a year-long CD for 5.25% interest.

The best part is, the minimum balance is only $250.00 so it’s not a huge commitment. You can even designate a certain amount from your checking to be automotically transferred for an easy saving method.
