William “IllWill” Genovese was sentenced to two years in federal prison on Friday. Why? All for selling secret (and stolen) Microsoft source code to an FBI agent investigating Genovsese. For $20. Genovese also operated and ran a popular hacking website, IllMob.org, which has also been shut down.
